Summer?

This was a summer dress from last year! Her Lilly gave it to her and it was great that I could grab it and it still fit her! It is a little on the short side so this morning she had cute little lace trimmed leggings and her little green froggy shoes on with it but they didn't make it till the end of the day:)

Word Girl!!!

Her owie. She was running with the big kids on the way home from school yesterday and biffed it :(

While I was making bread, Abby was playing with her BEANS!!! That's how she says it so that is how I had to type it ;) She really likes her BEANS!!!

We brought up some of the Little People and LP animals and cars to use in the BEANS!!!

She really took her time burying her kangaroo ;)

Bread!!!

I have probably made 6 loaves of the Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day and the other weekend Ebby and Clark were down and so I helped her make some dough that we used for cinnamon rolls so today I got the courage up to make some bread all by myself!! The Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day is a no knead loaf which took a lot of the scariness out of bread making for me. Well this I had to knead! I think the dough looks pretty good so far. It's setting in my oven rising right now. It said that the dough freezes well so I am going to make one loaf today and freeze the rest to see how that works. Keep your fingers crossed that it continues to work well!!!

Abigail the Ballerina

So the other day I tried my hand at a different slipper pattern. This one was an adult size and I was trying to scale it down for Abby. Well............I was crocheting while she was napping and hadn't measured her foot or anything. Heck, I didn't even have one of her shoes handy! So I was just eyballing it.  It worked, ish;)

We had to lace it up though to keep it on because I made it way too little and you really had to stretch to get it on. But she loved the finished effect and ran around singing the Angelina Ballerina song with her name in it ;)

I have since, measured her foot and made marks on my ruler and I am almost done with her actual pair that fit ;)
