Lilly and Papa's House

We went to visit Lilly and Papa last month and Abby got to help Papa fix a bike, ride a motorcycle(sat on it in the garage), Connor got to ride a bike, we all took a walk, and played some tennis. It was a very fun trip!!

Sweet Corn

Abby had sweet corn on the cob for the first time a couple weeks ago and I think that she really liked it. She took her time but she got most of the corn right off the cob!!

OCM

We had a blast at the Children's Museum. The upstairs had a Clifford exhibit and both the children LOVED it:) Plus the fire truck, water, ball room (Abby's favorite) and the farm/grocery store. It was a very long 2 hours but they had such a great time!

Zoo

Paul and I had last week off and we had some fun family days:) This is from our trip to the zoo. Abby had a pretzel on the train and thought that the paper dish was a hat and had tons of fun with it;)

Connor's Swim Lessons

Abby, Connor and I went back to Harlan for Father's Day and had a great chance to see a couple cousins of mine and their kids. I only got a couple pictures though:( Laura had finished feeding Clancy when Abby decided that she really liked his chair:) It was really fun to get to see everyone! HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!!

Connor's First Swiming Lesson

Ok, so we are on our third week now. I am a little slow:) Robin has a ton more on her camera and some video. I just keep forgetting to grab her cord so I can get them off her camera.

This is Connor all excited to go in the YMCA for his first lesson

Connor didn't even want to stand in line on his first day. When he was in the water with us before he wouldn't go under water and he wouldn't jump off the side. Now he jumps off the side to his coach, goes underwater, blows bubbles in the water. Kicks his legs on his tummy and back:) He is getting better and braver with each lesson. I hope to add more pictures soon!

Splash Pad!

Today was the first day that the Splash Pad near our house was open!!! It was a little cool but if you stayed in the sun it wasn't so bad;) Abby was having a blast but Connor took a bit of time to warm up to it, and he didn't want his picture taken. There is one pic in the collage of Connor running up the hill, that is how he spent the first ten minutes or so;)

Birthday Party Morning!

As we were getting ready for the party Saturday morning Abby was really having a blast with the balloons!!!

ONE YEAR!!

Oh my goodness! Can you believe that little baby up there is me!!! I am so much bigger now:) HEHE:)

The Signs

The sign on the left I made for Abby and had it in our front yard. The one on the right her teachers made for her and they had it up in their classroom!

The Dress

So here is the dress:) doesn't it look super cute! I love the sweater with it too, which worked great since it was in the 50's when we went to school and 75 when we came home! The dress could have used a few more inches on the bottom but I just put a pair of brown shorts under it and it was fine. This way when she fell and tried to stand back up she didn't get all tangle up!

The Cake

I forgot to get a picture of it but the cake was a cute little 5 inch lemon cake with yellow whipped cream frosting, lemon creme filling, and white chocolate shavings on it. I put a little yellow balloon candle on it to for her to blow out:) We had a very intimate party in her classroom. She is the second oldest child in the classroom and the oldest had food allergies so she is still on baby food so it was just Connor and me having cake with Abby:( We had fun though and the teachers had some cake after they were done with diapers and bottles;)
